With backgrounds spanning product development, system design, construction, and operations, our leaders bring the technical expertise and hands-on insight needed to guide projects from concept through compliance.
Andrew Strassner, President
Andrew brings experience in engineering consulting, utility leadership, and water infrastructure construction. He has managed multiple turnkey PFAS treatment projects and led the technology evaluation for over 300 systems at a major investor-owned utility.
His expertise includes pressure vessel design, permitting, construction, and O&M, making him a valuable resource for utilities navigating complex treatment challenges from concept through compliance.
Tom Klein, VP, Product Engineering
Tom brings a diverse background in mechanical engineering, water treatment, and PFAS treatment software design, with a strong focus on machinery and system development for municipal water applications.
He has also held multiple roles within one of the nation’s largest water and wastewater utilities, providing him with valuable operational insight and real-world experience in large-scale infrastructure management.
Adam Sattler, Operations Manager
Adam Sattler oversees Sentinel’s media and field service operations, bringing decades of experience in granular activated carbon (GAC) and ion exchange (IX) media replacement, system commissioning, warranty service, and field operations. His extensive technical knowledge and hands-on expertise help ensure reliable system performance and exceptional service for Sentinel’s customers.
Jinlin Tong, Product Manager
Jinlin brings a unique blend of product leadership, engineering coordination, and water-sector insight to Sentinel’s PFAS treatment initiatives.
She guides cross-functional teams through design, manufacturing, and deployment, translating complex treatment challenges into practical, scalable solutions for municipal and environmental clients.
Brad Snyder, Senior Designer
Brad Snyder leads Sentinel’s system design efforts for OEM products, overseeing drafting, conceptual layouts, and feasibility assessments. His experience translating customer requirements into practical, manufacturable designs plays a key role in delivering efficient, high-quality treatment systems.
Rafay Ahmad, Project Engineer
Rafay Ahmad is a mechanical engineer specializing in water treatment system design, permitting, and project management. He has led the design of several of Sentinel’s pilot skid systems and works closely with clients and internal teams to develop practical, innovative treatment solutions from concept through implementation.
Alexa Harper, Project Development Associate
Alexa Harper supports project development and coordination throughout the project lifecycle, from initial planning and conceptual design through execution. She works across engineering, operations, and project teams to help keep projects organized, on schedule, and aligned with client objectives.
