Pre-Treatment & Optimization
We help clients optimize existing systems and help evaluate if pre-treatment is worth adding to an existing system to improve operations. We also assist in evaluating flow controls for sites with multiple treatment trains, and can provide add-on components including cartridge filters and greensand filters to improve media life. For sites with elevated TOC, Fe, or Mn, we can often extend IX performance by adding a GAC vessel in front of the system to extend the IX life. These evaluations can be done on a rental basis using our suite of portable vessels.
Traditional Media Exchanges
We provide turnkey granular activated carbon (GAC) and ion exchange (IX) media exchange services tailored to your operational needs, including NSF-certified reactivation. We install media from bulk bags and supersacks for small sites and bulk tankers for large sites. We also have trained crews available to perform large gravity contactor exchange services.
Full Vessel Swaps
Sentinel provides full vessel swaps to help minimize downtime and reduce the need for onsite media exchange and backwashing. We provide swappable vessels up to 8’ in diameter, with our largest vessels holding 10,000 lbs of GAC. For IX applications, pre-rinsing at our centralized facility can help reduce O&M costs for sites without a sewer connection.
